Business Essentials (pexels)

No matter what your business is, there are some courses that all businesses can benefit from, and in most cases, need to undertake. We call these the Business Essentials and we’ve put them together in this category so that they’re easy for you to find.

Fire will always be a major hazard to a business with 75% of all business that suffer a fire never reopening after suffering a fire. Legally you need to have a fire safety risk assessment for your business workplace. The fire marshal training course will help you with this, but you also need to be able to get people out of your property should a fire start. Our evacuation chair and sledge training courses will teach you how to help someone out of the building as well as completing a PEEP before they come into your premises.

The leading cause of injury at work remains “Slips, Trips and Falls” with the second being “Falls from heights”. If you ever have to use a set of steps, or a ladder, your employer needs to provide training. This also applies to self-employed people; you need to gain this training.

There are numerous upcoming changes to employment legislation in the UK, and we have several courses that will help you get ahead of the curve.

All of these business essentials are listed below, with more specific course listed in the other categories, so don’t limit yourself to just these courses.
