Fire Marshal Training (face to face)
Our fire marshal training (aka fire warden) course is ideal for anyone looking to undertake the role of fire marshal. The training follows the requirements of the level 2 Award in Fire Safety, so we’re able to offer this certification as an alternative should you require it.
The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 came into effect in October 2006 & made fire safety training a legal requirement for every member of staff. Having fire marshals is one way to help comply with this legislation.
The course includes planning the safe evacuation of the workplace and personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS). The course give delegates a practical understanding of Fire Awareness, enabling them to identify and use the correct fire extinguishers and put fire prevention procedures into place. During the course, delegates will also get to use two different types of fire extinguisher.
Course syllabus includes:
- What is fire

- The most common causes of fire
