Care Certificate

If you hold a Care Certificate, you are already showing your dedication to providing high-quality care. However, to continue to improve your skills and knowledge, ongoing education is crucial.

The Care Certificate is an agreed set of standards that define the knowledge, skills and behaviours expected of specific job roles in the health and social care sectors. It’s made up of 15 minimum standards that should be covered if you are ‘new to care’ and should form part of a robust induction programme.

Doing so provides your with an opportunity to learn new skills, techniques, and approaches that can improve the quality of care your provide to patients. Additionally, ongoing education can help you advance your career and increase your earning potential.

These courses can be used as CPD, or to increase your knowledge before you apply for your Care Certificate.
