Bribery is not just a risk in high-profile industries. It is a risk in any business where normal commercial activities go unsupervised.

The Bribery Act 2010 created four criminal offences: offering a bribe, accepting a bribe, bribing a foreign public official, and, significantly, the corporate offence of failing to prevent bribery by an associated person. That last offence means that even if an employee or agent acts without the employer’s knowledge or encouragement, the organisation can be criminally liable, unless it can demonstrate that it had adequate procedures in place to prevent bribery.

Certificate:

Course duration:

• The course includes around 50 minutes of video lead learning.

Test:

• This Anti-Bribery and Corruption course is tested online & you’ll need to gain a minimum of 70% in each of the modules to pass.
• You will undertake a multiple choice exam at the end of the course with short tests throughout to help cement your learning.

Pre-requisites:

• We recommend that you have a reasonable understanding of English & maths (e.g. GCSE grade D/Level 1) before undertaking this course.
