Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering: Face-to-Face
The same accredited qualification as our online course, delivered in the classroom for those who learn better that way.
UK food law requires all food handlers to be trained in food hygiene to a level adequate for their role. The Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering is the standard qualification for anyone handling, preparing or serving food in a catering, hospitality or retail environment. This face-to-face version delivers the same QNUK-accredited, Ofqual-regulated qualification as our online course, through a structured classroom day with a qualified instructor.
The classroom format suits organisations that prefer group training, team-based learning, or settings where delegates may need additional support to complete an online course independently. The qualification is accepted by local authority Environmental Health Officers and meets the requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990, the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006 and Regulation (EC) 852/2004.
Note for business owners and managers: if your role involves writing food safety procedures, designing HACCP systems, or overseeing staff food safety compliance, you need the Level 3 Award in Food Safety for Supervisors rather than this course.
