Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering: E-learning
The accredited qualification for anyone who handles, prepares or serves food.
UK food law requires all food handlers to be trained in food hygiene to a level that is adequate for their role. For anyone working in catering, hospitality, food retail or food production, including kitchen staff at all levels, front-of-house food servers, and cafe or deli assistants, the Level 2 Award in Food Safety is the standard qualification.
This fully online, self-paced course is accredited by QNUK and listed on Ofqual’s Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). It meets the requirements of the Food Safety Act 1990, the Food Hygiene (England) Regulations 2006, and Regulation (EC) 852/2004 on the hygiene of foodstuffs.
Online delivery means delegates can complete the course on any device, in their own time, without leaving the workplace. This is particularly useful for food businesses managing shift patterns, high staff turnover, or multiple site locations, all of which are common compliance challenges that online delivery solves.
