Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace : Catering and Hospitality | E-Learning
Health and safety training built for the specific risks of a kitchen and hospitality environment, not a generic office.
The hazards faced by someone working in a commercial kitchen or hospitality setting are meaningfully different from those in an office, warehouse or retail floor. Burns, scalds, sharp implements, high-temperature equipment, goods-in vehicle movements, heavy lifting and wet floors present a risk profile that generic health and safety training does not address in useful depth.
This Ofqual-accredited Level 2 course has been developed specifically for catering and hospitality workers. It is filmed on location in a commercial kitchen and hospitality premises, so the examples and scenarios reflect the actual environment delegates work in rather than a simulated one. The course is regulated by Qualifi, an Ofqual-regulated UK Awarding Organisation, and meets the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
