Basic Life Support Instructor Course
The ability to deliver BLS training in-house is one of the most valuable capabilities an organisation can build.
Every workplace, school, care home and community setting needs people who can perform CPR and use an AED. The bigger the organisation, or the more frequently staff turn over, the more valuable it becomes to have someone on the team who can train others, rather than relying solely on external providers for every renewal cycle.
This 2-day Basic Life Support Instructor course, also known as the BLS Train the Trainer course, qualifies delegates to deliver Basic Life Support and AED training independently within their own organisation, school or community setting. It covers the full BLS syllabus for both adult and paediatric casualties, and then builds the instructional skills needed to teach it effectively, assess competence, and issue training records.
The course is built on the UK Resuscitation Council guidelines and kept current with each guideline revision.
