Basic Life Support Instructor Refresher
Resuscitation guidelines change. Your instructor knowledge needs to keep pace.
The UK Resuscitation Council reviews and updates its guidelines periodically, and those updates have practical implications for how CPR, AED use and paediatric BLS are taught. An instructor delivering content based on superseded guidance is not just out of date. They may be teaching technique that conflicts with current best practice.
This refresher course is for delegates who have previously completed our Basic Life Support Instructor course and want to maintain their instructional competence and keep their BLS knowledge current. It revisits both the subject content and the instructional skills, with particular attention to any changes in UK Resuscitation Council guidelines since the delegate’s previous training.
This course is for those who have already attended our initial BLS Instructor course. If you have not yet completed the initial qualification, please book that course first.

- Revisiting how to structure and deliver a BLS training session effectively
