First Aid at Work Requalification Course

If you already hold a First Aid at Work qualification which is due to expire, you can undertake this two-day requalification course which will equip you with the latest information and techniques and provide you with a new First Aid at Work certificate which is valid for three years. If your existing First Aid at Work certificate has expired, you should complete the full First Aid at Work Course course again.

The Health & Safety Executive say that; “Certificates for the purposes of first aid at work last for three years. Before their certificates expire, first-aiders will need to undertake a requalification course as appropriate, to obtain another three-year certificate. Once certificates have expired the first aider is no longer considered to be competent to act as a workplace first aider.” So if your certificate has expired, you’re no longer able to be counted as a first aider, which may have a serious impact upon your business and your insurance should something go wrong before you requalify.

The First Aid at Work course (& this requalification course) provides you with the knowledge & skills required to be a first aider at work, as outlined in the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, in a higher risk environment.
