Entry Prerequisites and Physical Demands

Candidates must hold a valid, in-date primary first aid certificate to attend. Specifically, you must email a copy to our centre before your session. Furthermore, delegates must be physically capable of demonstrating floor-level resuscitation techniques. Kneeling to practice continuous CPR manoeuvres is mandatory to earn your certificate.

This update course targets individuals aged 16 or older who hold workplace duties. However, younger candidates aged 14 to 16 may attend safely. Employers must not rely on younger students as sole nominated first aiders. Additionally, we recommend a basic baseline level 2 literacy standard.

Assessment and Testing Standards
