End of Life Care | E-Learning
End of life care done well is compassionate, holistic and coordinated. This course prepares you to be part of it.
End of life care involves more than medical and physical support. It encompasses emotional, spiritual and social needs, both for the person approaching death and for the family members and carers around them. It typically involves a team of professionals working together, and it asks everyone involved to navigate their own responses to grief and loss alongside their professional responsibilities.
For those working in care settings, end of life is not a rare or exceptional event. It is a part of the work. This CPD-approved online course provides a clear, sensitive introduction to what good end of life care looks like, what to expect as a person’s condition deteriorates, and how to work effectively within the team of professionals involved.
