Accreditation & Compliance FAQs
Yes, absolutely. All our commercial courses strictly align with current statutory UK standards. This includes guidelines regulated by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), relevant Awarding Organisations, and national governing bodies. Consequently, you can be entirely confident that the certificates your team receives will fully satisfy your official workplace compliance audits.
Most regulatory compliance qualifications, such as our First Aid at Work or regulatory safety certificates, remain valid for three years. Because keeping track of staff qualifications can be a logistical challenge for busy managers, our system automatically monitors your expiry dates. We will send you a courtesy reminder well in advance of your renewal deadline so you can smoothly arrange top-up training.
Legal training requirements depend heavily on your specific industry, your total staff numbers, and the underlying risk level of your workplace. For example, the HSE dictates that every employer must undertake a formal first aid needs assessment. If you are unsure of your exact legal obligations, please contact our team. We are always happy to guide you through the assessment process to ensure you remain fully compliant without overspending. We’ve even written a blog about how to do your own first aid needs assessment.
Our professional instructors work incredibly closely with every individual to ensure they feel supported, capable, and confident. In the unusual event that a delegate does not pass their exam or practical assessment, or if they happen to miss a critical module due to unexpected sickness, we will partner with you to find a solution. This typically involves arranging a supported re-sit or finding a way for them to catch up on the specific modules they missed.

Delegate & On-the-Day FAQs
To make your arrival as stress-free as possible, comprehensive joining instructions can be found here. This document includes precise parking details, public transport advice, maps, and specific directions to the classroom entrance.
We strongly recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothing alongside flat, closed-toe footwear. Many of our popular courses, particularly First Aid at Work and Manual Handling, involve active practical sessions. You will likely be spending time kneeling on the floor, bending, or practising realistic physical scenarios, so flexibility and comfort are key.
For all courses held at our training centre, we provide complimentary tea, coffee, water, and light refreshments during scheduled breaks to keep delegates energised. However, please note that a full lunch is not provided as standard. To accommodate this, our venue has been specifically selected for its close proximity to a fantastic variety of local cafes, shops, and amenities.
The vast majority of our full-day courses start promptly at 09:00 and conclude around 17:00, featuring regular short breaks throughout the day. We always advise arriving roughly 15 minutes before the official start time to sign in and grab a coffee. Please check your final joining instructions email to verify the exact timetable for your specific session.
