This online fire extinguisher training course is RoSPA approved and is a cost effective way for employers to maintain employees basic fire safety training.

Current legislation, The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, applies to all workplaces regardless of the number of employees and requires employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness for all members of their staff.

Workplace Fire Safety Awareness (face to face)

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 has made fire safety training a legal requirement for all businesses of every size. This course is ideal for all personnel and will give a basic understanding of roles and responsibilities regarding fire safety and fire prevention. It is intended for all employees & can be used as an induction to fire safety in the workplace or as a refresher course. It’s also suitable for anyone aged over 14 & looking to gain this fundamental knowledge.

 

Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work

The syllabus of this course meet that of the Level 1 Award in Fire Awareness at Work. As such you may wish to undertake the exam to receive this qualification instead. To do so, simply select the option when making your booking.

Fire Marshal Refresher Training (face2face)

This course gives fire marshals an opportunity to update their fire marshal training & get to practice using water and CO2 fire extinguishers again. This helps employers and businesses to remain compliant with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 which made fire safety training a legal requirement for businesses, and states that the training must be repeated periodically.

The courses give delegates a practical understanding of Fire Awareness, enabling them to identify and use the correct fire extinguishers and put fire prevention procedures into place. During the course, delegates will also get to use two different types of fire extinguisher.

Fire Marshal Training (face to face)

Our fire marshal training course is ideal for anyone who looking to undertake the role of fire marshal/fire warden. The course follows the training requirements of the level 2 Award in Fire Safety & includes planning and undertaking the safe evacuation of the workplace and personal emergency evacuation plans (PEEPS).

The courses give delegates a practical understanding of Fire Awareness. This will enable them to identify and use the correct fire extinguishers and put fire prevention procedures into place. During the course, delegates will also get to use two different types of fire extinguisher.

BLS Annual Update For Dentists (Blended Learning)

Our 3 hour BLS annual update for dentists (blended learning) course is the perfect way to help you and your practice colleagues comply with your annual CDP requirements, and not have to shut the practice down for half a day!

The GDC recommend that you do at least two hours of CPD in dealing with Medical Emergencies every year (& at least 10 hours in every CPD cycle).

Following our course you will receive a certificate issued by Chris Garland Training in compliance with the requirements of Schedule 1. 2(6)(a) & (b) of the GCD (CPD) Rules Order of Council 2017.
